This collage painting starts with an all-over collage of ephemera that is painted and embellished with acrylic paint in a henna cone to create a floral-esque "wallpaper". The flower and vase are collaged with hand-painted ephemera including: telephone book pages, Spanish textbook pages, maps, receipts and foreign language newsprint.
